Danielle’s academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (QUT, Brisbane, QLD), Postgraduate Diploma of Psychological Science (Bond University, QLD), and Master of Clinical Psychology (Bond University, QLD).
Danielle has a specific interest in working with clients with trauma, although her experience spans the range of mental health challenges including mood disorders (Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, OCD, phobias, Panic Disorder, Depression), suicidal ideation and self-harm, psychosis, and personality disorders. Before entering private practice, Danielle worked in government (Qld Health) and private in- and out-patient hospital settings.
Danielle offers experience in a range of therapy modalities including advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and ISTDP Core Training (Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy), which she has found particularly helpful for getting to the bottom of unconscious patterns that cause clients to self-sabotage and feel ‘stuck’. She believes strongly in the innate potential of every human being to heal mentally, and is honoured to accompany clients on this journey.
Danielle is available for telehealth consultations only.
