I am a provisional psychologist with an undergraduate degree in psychology from Monash University and Master of Psychology (Professional) from La Trobe University. I am dedicated to creating spaces for my clients that validate their differences and showcase their unique strengths and perspectives. I am also committed to delivering evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) while tailoring my work with clients according to their individual needs and circumstances. I have worked with clients across the lifespan, with a variety of presentations (e.g., mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, grief/loss, relationship/family issues, LGBTQIA+-related issues, confidence/self-esteem issues, and difficulties associated with ADHD/ASD).
In addition to my psychology training, I trained and competed as an athlete for many years, which highlighted the importance of determination and perseverance. I also have a strong social science background. This supplements my psychology knowledge by offering insight into clients’ experiences across diverse social and cultural contexts, an understanding of which I believe is integral in the therapeutic space. Importantly, I approach my work in psychology with empathy and sincerity. I always aspire to bring my values to my psychological practice, which include curiosity, non-judgement and openness. I strongly believe in collaboration, and above all, I am passionate about empowering my clients to build resilience and live maximally and authentically.
