Making high quality mental healthcare accessible for everyone

Dr Karl Bartl

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years’ experience working with adults who experience a wide range of mental health concerns, including:

· anxiety and depression
· self-esteem and confidence issues
· relationships and family of origin issues
· grief and loss
· trauma, abuse and adjustment issues
· anger and stress management
· ADHD and neurocognitive disorders

I have a particular interest in holistic psychology and personal development.

My approach involves taking the time to develop a full understanding of what you’re going through, while providing a supportive, safe and confidential space. Through respecting and supporting your needs, we’ll help empower you to feel more confident to make choices and find meaningful solutions to what you’re dealing with.

My qualifications include a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I’m also registered with the governing body of practising psychologists in Australia (AHPRA), and hold membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Through continuing professional development and training, my commitment to is to provide the most effective and up to date psychological knowledge and skills. I am experienced in a wide range of therapies, including proven principles from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (ITP), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychoanalytic Therapies.

My experience is that telehealth is just as effective as face-to-face, makes mental health care more accessible, and reduces the stressors people feel around attending therapy sessions. As a result, I am currently available for telehealth consultations only.

If you feel I’m a good fit for you, please call reception on 1300 224 665 to book an appointment.
