Mariana is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Honours) with Psychologist Training from UNESP – São Paulo State University, Brazil.
Mariana’s experience includes facilitating therapeutic groups and providing individual interventions in diverse mental health settings, including private practice and psychiatric hospital. Her academic foundation is rooted in the psychodynamic approach, which she has since expanded to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This breadth of training enables her to adapt her therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
