Rhonda believes that effective therapy should be tailored to your needs. She provides a collaborative and empathic approach, using client-centred evidence-based treatments to improve the well-being of her clients.
Rhonda draws from a range of techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
Rhonda’s specialty is cognitive-behavioural therapy or CBT (understanding and changing unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving) for clients with:
- Alcohol and other drug issues
- Relationship issues
- Stress and work-related issues
- Perfectionism & low self-esteem
Rhonda has over 13 years of experience of working across a diverse range of settings including supporting clients with AOD issues, veterans and their families, women who have experienced domestic violence, and clients with complex mental health issues.
Rhonda is an AHPRA registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi).
She currently provides telehealth support to clients aged 18 and over on Mondays, and Fridays.
When not working, she enjoys horse riding and pub trivia with friends.
