Forensic Psychologist
Sabrina has completed her Doctorate of Forensic Psychology at Deakin University. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Registration Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists inc. (AAPI). Sabrina has worked in community and correctional settings with a diverse range of clients. She has extensive experience in the provision of individual and group therapy as well as psycho-legal assessments and reports.
Sabrina works with adolescents and adults and strongly believes that therapy is a collaborative effort. She focuses on providing an individualised, non-judgmental, client-centred approach to provide a space in which the person feels safe, respected and supported. Sabrina believes that the therapeutic relationship is a key factor for a positive outcome and needs to be fostered. She has a special interest in attachment theory and its relation to healing complex trauma, which underpins much of her approach in therapy.
In addition to English, Sabrina speaks fluent German and can also provide counselling in this language. She has extensive experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and is proficient working with interpreters in a therapeutic setting.
